Aksiyoncuk is proudly collaborating with Afri-Art Connect for an exciting new initiative, the Cine-MPower Film Festival!
Cine-MPower is not just a film festival, it’s a celebration of cinema as a powerful tool for social empowerment and advocacy. Together, we aim to spotlight important issues such as migration, identity, freedom, and social justice through the lens of independent cinema.
This year’s festival features a rich and inspiring agenda, including:
Short Film Screenings: Showcasing powerful independent films and documentaries that challenge norms and give voice to untold stories.
Talks & Discussions: Engaging conversations with filmmakers, activists, and creatives to reflect on the role of cinema in social change.
Workshops: Interactive sessions on screenwriting, storytelling, and how to bring meaningful ideas to life on screen.
Networking Opportunities: A space for creatives to connect, collaborate, and build lasting relationships within a community of like-minded storytellers.
Cine-MPower invites emerging and established filmmakers alike to explore diverse cultures and perspectives through film. At its core, this festival is about using cinema to inspire, empower, and amplify marginalized voices.
Together with Afri-Art Connect, we at Aksiyoncuk are building a more inclusive and supportive platform for new filmmakers.
